At least in the US, most people either get paid:
- Every Friday
- The 15th and Last day of the Month

In Sweden most people get paid on the 25, if it's a weekday. If it's a Saturday, the 24th is used, and if it is a Sunday the 26th (only one paymet per month).

In Australia, most people are payed weekly or fortnightly on Wednesdays.

It seems there's a problem with my credit card then, and not with the way I type-in the info. As soon as I have time during the bank's work hours (i.e. in more than a week), I'll call them very very nicely.
