  • "Pause" doesn't seem to be working...

When you post there is always a saying/quotation/pure nonsense to read while you wait to get back to the thread...

Every now and then I try to "pause" the transition to the thread to be able to read the text... Doesn't work, never has... Why?

You have to hit pause before the next page starts loading.

        Works fine for me...

But if you have a fast connection and you have to scroll down the page you´ll never make it

With browsers like Opera, you can just go back a page and finish reading the quote if you want to. It stores the previous page.

and firefox, I do that sometimes when I see something interesting in the quote at the last millisecond before it goes away.

It even works with HUUUUUUUGE quotes like this:

                      ---------------------

edit: ok, apparantly it didn't work since I pasted exactly the same quote. I must say that I didn't had the intention to copy the 2nd quote as well, so when the huge quote appeared I made the decision in a little to slow split second and apparantly hitted the control-c one milisecond to late.

I have a curious sense of deja vu.

I think last time Skanky made the exact same posts and I said "Opera "

                        Let's go with that again.

                        Opera.

One of those "contest questions", where people guess the date of the next one popping up, eh?

Well, the suggestions above worked (with IE ).

Now I'll only have to find a use for it...

Even with IE6 you can hit the back button and then pause.
