In some cases this achieved within the first ten posts...

FG spam threads don't really count.

I like the 500 limit as I like to read the whole thread before deciding if my worthless opinion should be added.

I agree. But competitive Hangman threads do not fit into that category, obviously.

FG and spam don't fit in the same sentence.

            Yes, very redundantly superfluous... ;-)

              You're joking, right?

              Ever noticed the cap/com threads?

                That's a fair comment.

I wasn't counting the threads where two posters spend 500 posts talking past each other.

On the other hand, the "Hot or not" threads were pretty good unless you're a gay.

Most threads that get to 500 (or more) seem to be like the cap/com threads or spam (suomithreads and the Cafe). I'll give you the Hot or Not threads, but then remember the whole Schiavo thing.

500 post threads in on topic forums are usually pretty good, except for the FG spam threads

The problem is those other games threads that clutter up the FG forum.

we've had very few that hit 500 posts, other than ones on DnD based RPGs, and even those dont go to 500 very fast since a certain person hit deity

It is certainly true that Skanky has less time for posting these days.

Forum games have almost always been bigger than threads about other games. GO for instance has increased at a massive rate.
Was Ras actually that active in other-games threads though?
