Search function defunct...

I wanted to post a thread about BBC's slipup inviting bob marley to an interview.

But I decided to be smart - wouldn't want to post it again would I? So I go and use the search function, and search the off topic for "BBC" and again for "marley" for the last week.

Guess what? nothing.

So I go ahead and post a new thread, only to later accidentally bump into a thread titled "BBC slightly pwned" from April 1st.

Why had the search function not found it?

and I can't search at all. I tried a search on sin city, and the loading screen just takes forever, and nothing ever comes up.

No search term can be below 3 characters in lenght. So that means searches for say, "BBC" or "sin" will cause the search function to not work.

Also, the search normally only covers the on topic forums, not the OT. If you want to search in the OT, you need to specifically select that as the forum to search in.

Now there's a thing I didn't know. So if you don't specify a forum to search, all forums except OT will be searched

And they were normally nice things. The exceptions have gone on a list for when I rule the universe.
