Mozilla Firefox is a free Open Source, multiplatform web browser, which is only a web browser, containing no extra features. It's coded to load fast and especially be a next generation browser by supporting all modern web standards, unlike MSIE. It's also available in several languages and you can use language packs. Extensions can be installed to enhance its features and it already contains tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking and a search bar. Warmly recommended pice of software. Good to beef up your security.

I've unistalled Firefox and Opera because of its compatibility problems...
With SP2 IE is a little better (and a little worst) than before; now comes with a popup blocker. I use MyIE2 (now Maxthon). It uses the IE engine (no compatibilty problems) but with tabs and mouse gestures
Tabbed browsing is by default in Mozilla Firefox and mouse gestures are easy to add. So beats MSIE, which by default doesn't have them. Or if you want them, you anyway need to download something. Thus switching to Firefox takes as much time as one has to start using Maxthon. Which anyway is the better choice in many other ways too. Why then use Maxthon? I can't see any good reasons.

you did it backwards. Uninstall SP2, keep Opera and Firefox.
Why I will uninstall SP2? Since I've installed it win goes better and faster. I don't know if the security is better than before, but I trust in Mc Afee
BTW: I don't see any reason to use Mozilla in place of Maxthon. If we want the faster, this is Oper (without any doubts) but Opera has a lot of problems. Maxthon have tabs by default. I don't understand what you mean And is faster than Firefox.
I have installed almos all (there is another?): IE6, Maxthon 1.1, Firefox 1.0, Opera 7.54 and Netscape 7.2. This is because I make web sites and I need to test it in all of the browsers. But I use Maxthon as my default navigator.

Gerar Dean,
Good reasons are:
1) Showing support for development of Open Source software.
2) Using web standard compliant browsers makes it easier to create web content.
3) All the security and privacy specific issues I already mentioned, but you ignored. Maxthon = MSIE = MSIE's security and privacy problems = you get problems = other browsers are a better choice.

One fox question:
where's the web page history?
I've found a great frog forum, and now I can't find it!!!
Edit: I've found it...
but still, I want to know if I can see history, if that's possible.
Perhaps fox doesn't have history in order to load quicker or something?
