I was merely conducting research so I could criticise from an experienced viewpoint. Honest!

What does playing the Sim's have to do with how long Apolyton will last

Nothing, but it does tell you the price of fish.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

I think it must mean that Apolyton will last as long as it fronts as a Sim for posting meaningless spam.

But how then are we to work out the price elasticity of demand?
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

OK then, what do you think of this:

While it's tempting to think that he didn't know you were an economist, I think it's more proper that he did know and was posting a 'subtle dig' at your competence in said area of expertise.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

                          Competence, Economist; Economist, Competence....????

By what measure can this be determined?? Ask any, ANY, economist about another's theories, plans, or statements and what do you get?? A contrary opinion.

These two words together make a wonderful oxymoron.

To wit: All the economists in the world if laid end to end would never reach a conclusion.

Economists: More often right than Weathermen.

Not that being an Economist is a bad thing....
