I imagine CivIV will bring new members (and new bugs and controversies) and prolong the life of the site.
The core group of frequent posters ensures that the forums stay lively (

New games, OG, and OT, as has been mentioned, mean Apolyton will continue to have a raison d'etre

Same here. I see it will last a few years more...I haven't booted up any Civ game in a year and a half.

Apolyton isn't necessarily tied to the Civ series of games. The OG and OT are both thriving forums that don't mention Civ often if at all.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).Comment
