If it shows up as misspelled on MSWord I assume it's wrong... Another reason why Poly roks!

There is no birthday quiz this year; for the record, it is/was never intended to be a regular part of the annual feature.

if you're going by colour, you could also call it US-colours... or british (union jack) .. or most of the pacific countries... or ... ... you get the point

We're still waiting for Dan's speech but you can read the ones by Ming, Ixnay, Gramphos, Rah, Solver and yours truly in the mean time

it's somehow sad... reading of all those apolyton events, pub tours, visits, reallife-meetings...

and i'm stuck here in the middle of europe and the nearest frequent poster (MS) lives half way through the country and the 2nd nearest (SR) about 1000km away

Mapfi is from Zwitserland as well, though i haven't seen him in a while...

1000 kms? Don't be silly. There are plenty of Apolytoners who live in Germany, France, Austria, Italy... most within a 500 km radius from Switzerland... Heck, I live about 500 kms from the Swiss border myself...

And there are 2(!) pan-European Poly meets two weeks from now: one in Paris and one in London...

Ahh, thanks for the enlightment. Perhaps it's more of a 5-year 10-year thing?

where do these things get organised? OT?

anyway, central europe isn't like southern england where 200 apolytonees live within a 2 hours drive
