Forum Archiving Complete

After lots of lots of hours of processing our post archiving process is complete. Over 700,000 posts were moved to the Archive

The outcome so far seems positive in the general perfomance of the site but the search-based features(text searching, new posts, my threads) havent improved as much as we would like

So this is it for the time being (e.g. this week), we'll keep you updated on our further attempts at perfomance improvement...

on another note, i'd like to inform that some server load spikes can also come from our mailing system accepting too much spam and viruses (that run around in huge amounts again these last couple of weeks)

beyond that, Settler II currently has an over-1-month uptime....
