    good work rasputin.

I note that Jamski has moved far down the list of PPD, though still up there.

It won't last for me. I'll return to normal real soon.

Very notibly though, 6 of the top 10 ppd posters are from ACDG. It is again proved the demo game is a real PC booster. The quality of the newly added posts though, are drastically different. I can see at least one potential candidate for a future PCR.

          *Follows Honghu's post trail in*

Join the ACDG today, where the moderators are timid, the PDDs are high, and the posts are often interesting. This is roleplaying mecca.

We've just started a new DG and the teams don't care whether you understand the game or not. If you're able to roleplay write articles or stories then this place can be quite interesting. If you are aware of the game Alpha Centuari then the teams will welcome you even more and you can become involved in the gameplay aspect.

            8.16 ppd.

I'm glad to make it on one list. And I did it all without spamming. All of my posts in forums other than off-topic had some meaninful comment referring to the thread topic, or specifically referencing individual posts in a quote style format.

Finally, my ascension to emperor is semi-officially documented...

That's my last status change here. 3.43 PPD, generously rounded to 3.5, means roughly 2,000 days before deification.

              I don't think so...

                    I stand by my statement

My post was in context with the topic of the thread. And that was June posts per day. You could argue that the thread topic is spam, which it probably is.

But in my book, as long as you stay on topic with the thread, you aren't spamming

And this post I'm writing now is the other example I mentioned. Specifically replying to one's post through the quote feature.

Sad to say, top postings certainly do not come from Civ2 Succession Games. The lack of interest has become so profound there is an open game that hasn't seen a turnset since last fall!! How far the great do fall!!

if that latter, and the admins would grant us to starting some SQL-queries (select-only statements and reviewed of course!), then data extraction could be a lot easier and faster
it is all done manually, i have to copy the membership pages to my excel spreadsheet every month , which with the number of posters on my list now upto 900 !!! is a rather time consuming object.

That may seem easy enough but after doing that, I then have to check the name change log for name changes, and then i have to manually sort the lists to check for any errors, then manually paste in the new people . Also I have to remove all the useless information such as the little icons next to peoples names in the membership list.

After that I need to check all my formulaes for errors after the cutting and pasting.

Finally I have to run my little scripts to sort the lists into the many forms which i use.

Access to DB would be useful and easier, but I guess that would open a can of worms.

For now I happy to keep doing these, but I cant guarantee I will do them forever.

As for using longer periods I have thoguht of that, and if i get time , might do a comparison review later to show how a 3month rotation differs.
