-Beats me what's causing the background crap.

I mean, it's clearly an issue with the transparency, maybe some issues with a PNG -> GIF conversion?

Try this one (in .png)

Oh yay, back to unapproved posts

Edit: This was not unapproved, so it must be something about the image attachment.

[Buster Crabbe's Uncle]

I 'spose hackers could mess stuff up virally with the right attachment.

-Yeah; it's always a (re)sizing problem when those grid-y backgrounds show up - I just don't get why it happened THAT time, though it's clearly something to do w/ .gifs, as you discovered.

I definitely should have a Brian Blessed avatar, I'm sure in another 20 years I'll be pretty indistinguishable from him anyway

You did see the set of Vultans on page one?

[Gramphos]

Can you still have animated avatars?

[Solver]

Gramphos, holy wow!

Send me a message/email if you'd ever like to grab lunch, I think we live pretty close these days.

I updated my avatar on another forum, so I thought it would be appropriate to also amend it here. It's the same old NGE fanart avatar, which I've now refined slightly with the help of modern AI.

P.S. Yes, I'm still alive.
