I just about messed myself on the the last watch-through, at about that point. It's not just that they're shoveling coal into the atomic furnaces ---

It's Prince Barin. The actor was fat. He looked okay in the roman armor getup - which is what the character was wearing in the Flash comics at the time. But he wasn't pulling off shorts w/ belts and booties quite like the Olympic-swimming champion star. His shorts were bigger. <-That last is British understatement.

Now, we're not talking about just the differences in the two men's sizes. Some attempt has made to grampa the waistline high enough to conceal how fat he was. They even succeeded somewhat. But those shorts - they were huuge. The poor guy had to work beside adonis Buster Crabbe w/ his shirt off. -Prince Thunn wasn't having a good time that way ,either, but he was normal build. Normal shorts.

He and Crabbe could have saved on rent during the shooting of that sequence rigging a TENT out of Barin's shorts. I mean they were BIG.

You can't not wax hootful once you really pay attention to how much fabric was sacrificed to trying to conceal that a pudgy actor was pudgy.
