At least Yahoo seems to have changed their lame-ass Report Card system this year.

  • I got a D too but I think it's because yahoo projects Kevin Byard to not play this year? Can a bears fan confirm that's not true? Also, I don't trust the chatgpt blurb to at all reflect how they actually calculate the report card.

Kevin Byard is healthy and should start at safety for the Beloved. They signed him as a starter. You snapped him up one pick before I would have taken him (ended up with Antoine Winfield).

Bears have health issues at CB, but not with Byard.

      good good good

  • Most of their report card is based on ADP vs where you picked somebody. And as we've seen in previous years, it doesn't really mean squat

Shouldn't it mean that your team is anything but mediocre?

      • I'm not too surprised I got a D, I have several old timers who may or may not see much action and Burrows in the 2nd round might have been a mistake, he's got the 30th toughest schedule. That's why I took CJ Stroud and Tua after seeing that. Kyler has the easiest but I didn't want him at Seattle for Burrows bye. Stroud gets the Jags at home that week.

3 teams took 3 QBs this year.

      • Mines correct.

        • I also got a D. But last year I didn't get a good grade but made the playoffs.

          • I got a B-minus. Expected something lower due to picking Travis Hunter 32nd overall.
Weirdly, they predict me for 2nd place, even though Sloww had a better grade (A-minus).

            • It'll be interesting to see what the Jags do with him. I read they might cut back on his D if he proves too valuable as a WR

I'd be fine with that -- as long as I can slot him into my lineup as a DB.

I have always found the "difficulty of schedule" factor in Yahoo's draft evaluations to be a weird choice of metric.
Similarly, their attempt to differentiate future outcomes based on bye weeks feels pretty random.
