Bears get two guards to help protect Caleb Williams. They could still use a center,, but may not have to pay for the top guy now, especially since they need an Edge and Trey Hendricksen is now available for a trade. They could also use DL's, but more options are open now.

Nice to see the new O-line won't just be rookies and retreads. I'd really like to see them stay focused on building a top-5 line as the main priority this off-season.

Bears add C Drew Dalman, DE Dayo Odeyingbo and DT Grady Jarrett who Atlanta didn't want to lose, but couldn't figure out how to do that. Nice upgrades on both lines.Last edited by Demonbinder; March 10, 2025, 16:01.Comment

In 1985 I was at a Bears game where Bears had goal to go from two yard line. Handoff to Walter who was met by a couple of blockers he couldn't get past. William Perry picked him up and carried him across the goal line. I yelled out, "You can't do that!". If that move is illegal so should the tush push, imo. Runner should be able to do it under his own power.Comment

I don't know much about him as a person, but his reaction to his draft situation was refreshingly classy and not "entitled" - so I give him props for that. Some of the "Deion's circus" commentary from sports broadcasters/podcasters have been mean-spirited at best. I sincerely hope Shedeur manages to have the career that his obvious talents suggest he can.

That was an odd pick since they'd taken a qb two rounds earlier. If he's a Haslem pick, it's even worse than just being drafted by the Browns.Comment

Caleb looked good in his first preseason action. However it looked to me that he locked on his primary, but he was getting ball out quickly. At least he connected on most of them, especially the opening series. Work in progress.Last edited by Demonbinder; August 17, 2025, 21:15.Comment
