I heard Stevenson was out of position on the last play, that he was supposed to be covering Brown on the back tip.

Yes, looking at it again he was in the wrong position and tipped the ball into other players hands. Stevenson should have been in the end zone to prevent that.

you gotta find a clip of Saquan Barkley in today's game, sounds like he had a few highlights but one stands out. I wont spoil it

Saw it with Ming while watching the Bears self-destruct. Absolutely jaw-dropping. That play will be in SportCenter top 10 tonight for sure.

        Here it is. Other-worldly...

Edit: I see the NFL has restricted the video. But good news: the link works.

Who is Jonathan Mingo and why did he cost a 4th when Dallas got rid of Amari Cooper for a 5th?

This would seem to confirm statistical suggestions the Amari is past his prime.
Mingo was a 2nd-rounder in '23 btw. Undistinguished college careern (Ole Miss), but hey, he's from the SEC so he must be good.
And hey, Dallas also got a 7th rounder in the deal...

This loss didn't hurt as much as last two, but just another one we had a chance. Caleb played really well except for taking a sack in OT. But he is now showing what he can do. Bears are their own worst enemy.

Great job of getting to OT in a game that looked like it would be a rout.

As I said to Ming, it's really not a question of whether, but HOW, they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

...and they've been very impressive in finding a different, often exotic way to lose each week.

At least the Bears are showing good progress on offense. The "next man up" OC seems to get it, and it was great to see Caleb deliver the TD+FG in the final minute. When you throw in the onside kick, it was miracle territory.

Looking forward to Detroit. Hoping for a fun game on Thanksgiving!

Saw this on FB today. I must say, it does a great job of summarizing the Bears' season in one image...

The Bears have fired head coach Matt Eberflus, probably as much for the national sports media embarrassment the team suffered after the Thanksgiving implosion yesterday as much as his actual coaching.

Pretty much all of Chicago rejoices.

Congrats to Thomas Brown, who has gone from passing game coordinator to interim offensive coordinator to interim head coach in under a month. He's actually had a couple head coaching interviews, so maybe he can earn the job on merit. Plus, it would save fans from the pain of watching Bears management pick the wrong guy again.
