No one is disputing Donaghy's criminal behaviour. You are just trying to move goalposts. You were making claims that the NBA as an organization is fixing games to extend series, and specifically that they did so in regards to Green's lack of a suspension and his suspension in the 2016 Western Conference and NBA Finals.

It is nice of you to bring up how even Donaghy was cleared of making calls to affect the outcome of games though ... and no, it doesn't require systemic bias for the scheme to work.

I can't decide if Tim Donaghy is the Jose Canseco or the Edward Snowden of the NBA. Canseco makes more sense given the sports connection, but Snowden has the criminal connection going for him. Tough choice. Floyd Landis has already been considered and rejected, because no one cares about cycling.

Assuming the bulls have a plan is bad for your health.

Their only plan over the last decade was thinking that sending someone to the airport with a limo was all they needed to attract top free agents to Chicago.
And we've seen how well that works.

Rajon Rondo, Dwayne Wade and Jimmy Butler with Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez? Maybe a playoff team but certainly didn't get younger. Don't really know what to think about this one. Seems like just more playoff hell.

They call it trying to fill the seats. Bulls fans have been filling the stadium for years, even when they sucked. But their patience is starting to wear thin.
The Bulls can't seem to sign the Class A free agents, so they signed a bunch of Class B free agents in the hope that the fans will keep placing those orders for season tickets.

I'll want to see how the deals are being structured. It could be they are trying to set themselves up for next years crop of free agents. But as we have seen, No Class A free agent has shown any desire to come to the Bulls in MANY years. Their only real success came from the luck of the draft with Rose. And that only lasted as long as Rose's health.

Both these deals have been reported as 2 year deals so it sounds like they're already conceding that no one will want to come here next year.
We'd have to dump the rest of the team to make any space for them.

But younger and faster was the plan.

Heard an interesting take on the Bulls and Dwayne Wade from the talking head on sports radio.

One of the reasons the Bulls were willing to give him good money was to silence one of their biggest critics.
Dwayne Wade has been talking smack about the Bulls organization. He is a very respected person among the other players, and has not had a kind word to say about the Bulls.
Now, he's talking about happy he is to be joining such a great organization. While in a way, it could be considered black mail money, if this signing lifts the cloud off the organization, maybe it was worth the money even if his old body can't produce anymore
