        USA is still as high as 28 after that abysmal Gold Cup showing?

        These ranking numbers are silly because they include friendlies. Friendlies are where youth and fringe players get a look from the national coach, rarely is it the team's best squad. It's like saying NFL preseason games matter in judging who the best teams are.

          Yeah, the friendlies thing is a bit silly to say the least - Wales opted to not play any friendlies this summer...
