  • I haven't had one all year, but winning the segment and fourth for the year. Go figure.
Maybe I can win the last week.

      • So there we are, last one of the season

I have not been able to stay in the Top 10 fof Yahoo, just one bad tourney on the year will do that for you, it was still amazing to flirt with the #1 position worldwide. And its been a fabulous ride, surely a once in a lifetime experience. Would love to break the Top 25 (at #28 now) but out of starts on Day, Spieth, DJ and Rose will not help...

To make it even sweeter I am inline to win $1500 in my money league, but let's not jinx it yet

BUT I am so glad to win this League for the first time in what? 5 or 6 years (I came second in 2011 I think) and especially having dedicated this season to Tony

                • Yeah, it's too bad he couldn't hang in the top 50 but still a fantastic year for him. It's the type of year that Tony aspired to accomplish.

                    • I keep waiting for Skyfish to check in and give us his official final standing.

He had a rough playoffs, but the best season I've ever witnessed, by far.
Something to aspire to, and as rah says, a worthy tribute to Tony Bogey.

                        • Yay, RAH, saving the best for last!

Tough finish for Sky, but still a spectacular season!

I tried to claw back this segment, but it was way too little, way too late... but now that I've re-familiarized myself with all the players, courses and tournaments, I'm a bit more prepared for next year.

                          • Thanks guys, I still don't understand what went wrong with that last tournament, but obviously:
1- I underestimated the number of players who kept Jordan for East Lake and they all just jumped in front of me - as I had feared would happen
2- The lack of starts on Justin Rose penalized me way more than I ever imagined it would
3- Rory and Stenson drove me completely nuts, as I started them exactly on the days they underperformed compared to each other.
So again very disappointing Summer segment, and playoffs season, like every year - I warned you for that and thought I had done better than normal but it still bit me in the ass in the end!

Big bummer but still an incredible year, its all downhill from here now

But most importantly: so glad to finally win this league after 6 or 7 years of effort

                              • Oops sorry - here it is!

I have to congratulate Von Schack who's my IRL golf buddy and who valiantly fought his way to a Third Place in the league despite getting hammered by me in our 2-man league - he has no access to this forum and it was kinda difficult to stay motivated after that huge lead I built in the Winter segment - that 200 point lead stayed the same throughout the whole year btw, crazy stuff.
