There are no guarantees, obviously. But the Hawks have battled through tougher situations. I was more concerned about their chances when Duncan Keith got suspended in the LA series last year. The loss of Seabrook concerns me. But Brookbank played very well. They didn't lose much. Hopefully, he can have another couple of good games in relief of Seabs.
Hossa needs to produce more... get on the score sheet. I've been impressed with his hustle. There were a few shifts last game where he was right on the puck carrier immediately. Offensively, he's not been bad. He's just not getting good looks. The puck is not going in the net. His passes are getting broken up. And this is mostly through no fault of his own.
But regardless... he's got to step it up.
Also, I'd like to see more from Shaw.
The Hawks are so deep, they can afford to have 2-3 of their top guys not producing as much. I still don't see a team that can compete with their talent and depth. Whether that translates into another SC? We'll see.To us, it is the BEAST.Comment
