Allotting proportional starts are a little hard. It's very tempting to ride certain players until they're no longer eligible. It probably makes no difference, but I'm trying to leave all options open the whole season.

I don't make much effort to save people and use up only a few golfers every year. I do like to save starts in the majors and the final FedEx events at the end for a few favorite big names. Other than that, there's no need to hold back in my experience.

What I wondered about earlier happened. I got a lower lowest score and gained points. Makes sense.

You're gaining points relative to the score you carded, but you're not really gaining points relative to the field.

That's incorrect. I offer Jr as an example. Do you see where he posted about his poor luck? He scored a 78, which is now his low score. He gained 3 positions in the rankings.

Thats because his previous lowest score (142) was actually quite high compared to the (lowest scores of the) rest of the field. Check most other low scores right now and you will see that they are all lower than that 142 (here http://golf.fantasysports.yahoo.com/...mance?half=2nd), that is why he gained positions in the rankings.
