I disagree for the same reason I don't like how Yahoo displays confidence. It doesn't matter much to me how many points anyone has, but rather how many points they have lost (or alternatively, how many points they can still get). I think I am in the lead this week, simply because I put less points on Minnesota than the rest of you, meaning that my maximum possible points is higher than anyone else. Why doesn't Yahoo display Maximum possible in a confidence pool?

I have to agree... Most confidence pools I've seen do NOT show Maximum possible points. And that is really the true guide... NOT how many points you have to date.

You guys are right, of course. Mine was a kneejerk post, not even noticing that I was in the Confidence Pool thread.

I suspect that it's precisely this kind of oblivious thoughtlessness that has that has gotten me to the top of the standings.
