        TEs are overrated. Look at IDP.

          TEs except for Jimmy Graham or Gronk. They play in systems that allow them to put up WR1 numbers based on our scoring. In a position where there is massive productivity drops from there, they make perfect sense 2nd round picks because there isn't as much of an opportunity cost in forgoing a WR. The really curious thing though is that neither of them have WRs or RBs at this point and I predict at least 3 WRs and 3 RBs will be picked between now and then.

            Berz jumping for Gronk this early makes a lot of sense to me. Berz is good at midseason management, so he knows he'll have something passable at RB/WR, so why not go for broke at QB/TE?

            I love his draft so far in this league.

              Berz has Graham. Berz grabbing Gronk would be a bad idea as he'd be locked into the Patriots having a great season - Brady gets hurt and Gronk's value nosedives.

                Same deal. They'll both score around 345 points in this league, give or take - but you're right, the diversification of bye weeks is better. (I don't care so much about diversification of teams.)

                    Graham and Gronk were both taken in the 2nd round of IDP. Actually the first TE was taken sooner in IDP then D/ST.

Or send me yours in a PM, I won't read it until mine and Jags are posted (and we've discussed our picks, so I will have verification that I didn't poach anyone) if you're going to go quickly.

                                Several of your picks came at inopportune times, just as a tier of quality players ran out. Sproles and Welker and Calvin Johnson are glaring examples of it.

                                Your IDP draft's problems aren't so much with the players you picked, but rather, with the players you barely missed the chance to pick.
