This one was questionable. I actually timed it and got 1:34.14 and in the morning paper they said flat 1:34

Different by almost a second from what you originally posted. I timed it live. It all comes down to what marks the start and how long you count the last note while she was holding it. I'm likely to lean towards my timing of the actual event then trusting one done on a recording. I was just amazed that mine was that close to the over/under prediction.

Look, I don't really care. But trusting your fingers (or mine) vs. trusting a sports book, I'll go with the people who have money on the line. Even if they call it "unofficial," they felt good enough about it to post it along with their 45 other prop bet results.

Actually people having money on the line makes me suspicious of anything they say. I doubt there is definitive proof either way. Since I had no money on it and timed it myself, I'll believe that. And since we're talking about a difference of less than .3 seconds.......Which is really the point I was making. It's like when the they hit the over/under on the nose you always seem to be amazed. (mainly because you only notice when they do hit it on the nose.)

Did Kelly Clarkson take too long to sing the national anthem? According to Bovada sportsbook, Clarkson went over 1 minute 34 seconds [no exact time given], which was the betting line cutoff. However, another source (unofficially) [previously mentioned covers.com] timed Clarkson at 1:33.81.
