Did anyone watch the carrier game? I was out on Friday night and didn't get a chance to see it. Did the setting affect the game? Was it a cool thing to watch, not just think about?

Again, nobody watches college basketball until March.

On-board setting did not seem to affect the game.

        UNC is looking pretty good.

The only issue was the decals on the floor. They caused some minor injuries.

We can put ourselves on Jim Boeheim firing watch.
            http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports...,3263963.story

ALBANY, N.Y. — Syracuse University Chancellor Nancy Cantor gave men's basketball coach Jim Boeheim a vote of confidence Tuesday amid an investigation of child molestation allegations against his former longtime assistant coach.

Cantor emerged from an economic development conference with state officials and said: "Coach Boeheim is our coach."

Some commentators and sex abuse victims' advocates had said Boeheim should resign or be fired after three men, including two former Syracuse ballboys, accused Bernie Fine of molesting them and Boeheim verbally attacked the accusers.
How long until Boeheim gets the same boot Paterno did?

For me the season starts with the BIG10 ACC challenge. Especially now that the outcome isn't a given. Go BIG10.

How many Tournament championships in the last 3 years?

I believe the ACC is up by 2

Yep. Championships mean something. Conference vs. conference games in December, do not.

College basketball doesn't matter until March.

Funny how meaningful ACC fans were saying this tournament was a few years ago...

Excellent article about Xavier - Cincy game from the other night. I couldn't believe the fight or the comments by the Cincy player after the game about having a "bunch of gangsters" on the team. No excuse for how they acted and Zuba is correct about kicking these guys off team and cancelling their scholarships.

On PTI they were talking about this issue and Tony said he was surprised by the use of the word gangster. Wilbon says it doesn't mean the same thing in "his community". Sorry, but that is not an excuse. They should know what it means to much of America and not use that term.

Wilbon's talking about the white community he lives in.
