                    It sucks when RL interferes with online games.

                      Are you sure? I can still change my pick. It seems as though the fact that the Thursday game has already been played isn't a factor in whether or not you are eliminated before Sunday gametime.

                              From the "settings" section of the Yahoo Survivor pool:

                              Deadline

                              Sunday at 11:00 am MST
                              I suspect it is the same regardless of whether or not there is a Thursday game, so you can pick the Thursday game as long as you pick it before it starts, but if you don't pick until after the Thursday game begins, you can still pick another game up until 11:00 am MST on Sunday (1 pm EST).

                                It would not let me pick a Sunday game. That was on Saturday. Tried again Sunday a.m.
                                I suppose it's possible that I screwed up somehow, but it's not exactly a complex interface...

                                Fortunately, I don't especially care.
