Fitzpatrick is not actually a good quarterback. He's an adequate QB with a relatively weak arm. Hence why Lee Evans was expendable - Fitzpatrick can't throw far enough for him to be useful. He doesn't totally suck, but he's not ever going to be a franchise QB, and thus Buffalo would love to find themselves in the Luck Sweepstakes. I rather thought they were going all in on the sweepstakes when they traded Evans away
