Hmm, now I have to pick... eek. I like going later in the draft. So much pressure!

There are a lot of issues to consider on QB vs RB. I scaled back the high-attempt QBs and scaled up the high-efficiency ones. I also scaled up the scoring for high-efficiency RBs. The further over 4 yards per carry, the better. There's also the talent distribution. How fast does each position decline over the first few rounds?

QB and RB just play out very differently in fantasy. At least you know that Sam Bradford will get the chance to play like Peyton Manning does, but it's unlikely that he'll be as good. Meanwhile, it's quite possible that, say, Mark Ingram will be just as effective as Rashard Mendenhall - but if he only gets 120 carries, and the Saints keep playing spread formations in the red zone, the fantasy world won't care.

just to confirm, the .05 per completion is not a typo and the -.1 per rush attempt is not a typo.

Correct. QB scoring from yardage has been increased to compensate for the reduction in the completion bonus. Now the QB position is about trying to get lots of yardage without too many incompletions (dead plays.) You get a modest bonus for a completion, but a 1 yard completion gets you very little.

Have the scoring changes been entered into Yahoo?

Yes. You won't notice much of a difference, because they all balance out pretty well. You might notice that the high-yards-per-play guys are doing better now - Jamaal Charles, Michael Vick, etc.

Yahoo automatically displays "Actual" per the settings of the league.

If Jaguar were to go in and make more setting changes, the Actual list would update automatically.

Ah **** it, I'm going for it. ESPN projects him going 7th overall, and they don't even weight QBs the way we do. ESPN projects Rogers getting 311 points and Yahoo says he got 508 last year in our system. So even though ESPN values him 200 points less than us, they still project him 7th. Our system definitely seems to necessitate taking a QB high. Considering Jaguar and I both did last year and we both did fairly well last year, it seems to be the way to go. So yea, I'll break open QB

wow, -5 for ints and 20 completions = 1 pt and .2 for catches?

hey MRT, if u want those stats for the auction league dont let me talk u out of it. we got time to settle on the stats, but Jag's fine tuning may be an improvement.

Wow a quicker start than I imagined!

Umm... I want to move up. Anybody sitting up there want to swap some picks? I figure swapping placement in the first two rounds and then swapping to your advantage in a latter round would be good?

I have a particular player in mind that may be off the board by my pick.
