I liked Cecil Fielder & Barry Sanders growing up. But I don't really have favorite athletes really. They are all just entertainers. If they do their jobs well then my team gets a championship. If not... oh well. I don't have anything invested in them beyond that.

Although, you have to understand, that I was a pre-teen and a teenager when those guys were in their primes so they did have an affect on my generation and those younger. To us, we expect sports stars to be divas, so it doesn't bother us one bit when they are.
