  • With wins last week, Berz and I locked in first round byes in the DST playoffs, with two playoff spots still up for grabs next week. Since IDP's regular season is a bit longer only Guy has clinched a playoff spot, though if I can beat Jag next week that will go a long way toward sorting out the playoff picture there. In salary cap I extended my lead by 40 points, though that will disappear quickly if Stafford keeps throwing to the wrong team.

        • For the playoffs in D/ST league, what's first tie-breaker? Head to head? Or points?

          Please be head to head...

Looks like it's points for, seeing as Deviations is the 1 seed right now despite losing to Berz.

              • It's crunch time and I'm looking for that #1 seed (I have a first round bye locked up)!

Total yards from scrimage (returns do not count). I really don't care at this point if they are rushing or receiving. I just need yards. TDs are nice, but they are too unpredictable.

                Pick One:
                M.Bush (Oak) v Mia
                C.Spiller (Buf) v Ten
                D.Sproles (NO) v Det

I know most of you will say 'You gotta start Sproles! You're retarded for even asking!", but like I've said, I need yards from scrimage so return yards don't count. The last three games he's gotten 99, 3 and 82. In the same timespan, Bush has 242, 129 and 103. The main reason is Sproles is splitting time 3 ways in New Orleans. In Oakland, Bush is the only guy there (DMC is still most likely out this week). However, Bush is not a lock because he is playing against a very good Miami rush defense. Throw in the mix Spiller who is now the main man in Buffalo, and fills a role similer to Sproles' but doesn't split time. Last week might not have been a good indication as to what Spiller will do with the starting job, as they were playing from behind and against a very good defense. This week he has a much better matchup.

Did I mention that total yards from scrimage is the most important factor here?

                • Since (1) returns don't count and (2) two guys are likely to get 20+ touches while the other is in a 3-way timeshare, it seems pretty clear that the odd man out is Sproles.

Bush leads all RBs in total fantasy points since McFadden went down.

May not be that hard if Brady only plays the first half.

Why the hell do you think most of us would say "Sproles"?! When Sproles was the best option on your team, yeah, it was definitely Sproles. But you have ****ing Michael Bush!

No one would have said Sproles. Tell me who the hell would say Sproles?!

I'm not mad though it seems like it. I'm just flabbergasted that you would even think any of us would be like of course Sproles. I'm lost.

Default at ESPN is head to head.

I see yahoo doesn't even offer head to head seeding. Maybe jrabbit was right at first blush about the waiver options (reverse order of standings not offered at Yahoo but being default at ESPN). Is it possible that these settings could be proprietary?

                            • Sucks for me. I beat both Flash and you, MRT, so if it were head to head, I would be making the playoffs most likely. With points, I need help.

Yahoo is adding features all the time. This year alone they added a ton of defensive options.
