  • The Classic @ the Hockey World Champs: Sweden - Finland

Game's on tomorrow. It's the final, btw.

We look to be taking it home because Finland never won anything important since 1809 and is generally unable to win at anything anymore, but I gotta say I really, really admire Granlund's GWG vs Russia.

So who's watching and what do you think? *deafening silence*

Fair play to Finland. GG and congratulations to your second title. I guess I had your team very wrong.

After 3-1 I could already tell it was over. It was such a stupid goal.

Ain't no party like a Finland party because they're naked:

Backlund is Swedish though and he was on the losing team, and Granlund (Wild prospect) was on the winning - for a change - Finnish team. It's confusing for us too you know.

But I can inform you that Tim Erixon was one of the best Swedish players in the tournament. He'll be great. The loss can be put down to other players, especially Petrasek, but I'm not gonna make excuses. They were an unexperienced team that folded under pressure. Finland was more disciplined.
