  • The Minnesota-Buffalo game is out of my market. Is Tarvaris Jackson really balling as well as the stat-line indicates?

Well nevermind now if he's going to keep throwing interceptions when victory is assured.

    • Hmm, not sure if I look more like a genius right now or an idiot. I picked Oakland over San Diego in the NFL Confience pool (and a lot of people pick SD for a lot of points too). I thought it was a close match up, despite SD being favoured by 13...hopefully Oakland continues to dominate....genius .

I aslo picked Indianapolis over Dallas in the Survivor pool, and with only two of us left and the other already having one their game, it looks like it might be over this week unless Peyton Manning can find a way to comeback. Given Dallas season so far, I won't count out the Colts until it's over, but it's not looking good right now.....idiot

      • I really feel empathy for Peyton Manning. If he hadn't had Reggie Wayne on the field, he would have had to throw it to himself. He wouldn't have been able to run it himself.

        • The Falcons are going to give me a heart attack with all their 4th Q victories... though I never would have expected 10-2 right now.

I better go and ask Sloww.

              • Peyton Manning has thrown 11 picks in the past three games. I think he's trying to catch up to Eli

Actually, you may be a bit surprised by who's at the top bit of the interceptions column:

                Favre 18
                Eli 17
                Brees 16
                Peyton 15
                Chad Henne 15
                McNabb 15
                Palmer 15

                • Why would anyone be surprised Favre is #1?

                  • I don't think it's Favre that's the surprise, but Brees being #3 is, for me.

                    • Pleased? Definitely. Surprised? Yes.
He only had 7 all last year.

                      And I agree on Brees.

                      Brady, BTW, has only 4.

                              • Imran, you are a dumbass. You keep trying to nitpick things that I say and twist them to make me look stupid and you look like an idiot in the process. I said top BIT of the interceptions column and followed it up with a list of the top 7 which includes Peyton Manning and Drew Brees (who should be shockers to anyone!), Brett Favre and McNabb (who are only a year removed from great seasons; McNabb also is one of the best QB's of all-time for NOT throwing INT's with incredibly low INT/attempt and INT/TD ratios), and Carson Palmer (who was an elite QB only like 2-3 years ago).

Only one (Peyton Manning) of the current top 7 in INTs was top 7 last year and the type of QB up there now is different from last year's bunch which included 3 rookies and a bunch of blah QB's.

                                Last years:
                                Jay Cutler 26
                                Matt Stafford 20
                                Mark Sanchez 20
                                Jake Delhomme 18
                                Josh Freeman 18
                                Matt Hasselbeck 17
Matt Cassel 16 (tied with Peyton Manning at 16)

3 rookies, 2 veterans who had stopped being good, and two young QB's on new teams. YOU'D EXPECT THEM TO BE UP THERE ON INT'S!

Again look at this year's list so far:

                                Favre 18
                                Eli 17
                                Brees 16
                                Peyton 15
                                Chad Henne 15
                                McNabb 15
                                Palmer 15

COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TYPE OF QB'S! If I had just presented you that list at the start of the season or last year, you might have thought I was showing you a list of TD passing leaders or yardage passing leaders.
