How about:
Runs, RBI, BB, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, SB, OPS.
ERA, H/9, BB/9, K/9, GIDP, IP, QS, HLD, SV
or maybe mirror the pitching stats with the hitting:
Runs, BB, 1ba, 2ba, 3ba, HRa, WHIP, K, IP
and drop QS/HLD/SVLast edited by EPW; January 26, 2010, 04:01."...awkwardly and shyly. He stroked it gently and then he blushed and turned hastily away. ‘Hullo, Sam!’ said Frodo. ‘It’s warm!’ said Sam." -The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the RingComment

That makes relief pitchers a non-entity.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

I think it would make relief pitchers more valuable since they'd probably give up fewer hits overall."...awkwardly and shyly. He stroked it gently and then he blushed and turned hastily away. ‘Hullo, Sam!’ said Frodo. ‘It’s warm!’ said Sam." -The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the RingComment

Of course, it might be more beneficial not to start any players at with that system..."...awkwardly and shyly. He stroked it gently and then he blushed and turned hastily away. ‘Hullo, Sam!’ said Frodo. ‘It’s warm!’ said Sam." -The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the RingComment

Throw out holds, but keep saves.Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

I don't see how holds are any worse than Quality starts or saves."...awkwardly and shyly. He stroked it gently and then he blushed and turned hastily away. ‘Hullo, Sam!’ said Frodo. ‘It’s warm!’ said Sam." -The Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the RingComment

well, saves are...saves... always had em
but QS are a good category, you really gotta earn it - thats at least 6 innings of 3 er or less. My only gripe with it is the guy who pitches 7-9 innings and gives up 4 er. But its better than wins, compare some guy throwing 6 innings giving up 1 er with a guy who throws an out and gets a win or a hold.

yahoo is open for business
so how do we find out who played last year? Isn't there a link at yahoo that allows us to look at past teams and leagues? Or do we have to join a league first before we can look up poly history? We need to send emails pms to people who've played in the pastComment
