College football is far less dysfunctional, as the conferences control the revenue from both the regular season and the bowl season. They have no incentive to devalue the regular season in return for higher postseason revenues, as the NCAA is about to do to college basketball.KH FOR OWNER!

Nahhh... this is just the same group that devalued all of the other bowl games to make a ton of money with their made up championship game. This is the same group that destroyed all the natural and historical conference rivalries with their bowl games simply to cash in big with a championship game that excludes any but the big conference teams.They have no incentive to devalue the regular season in return for higher postseason revenues, as the NCAA is about to do to college basketball.
The BCS is just as dysfunctional and just as greedy if not more so... but you can't see that because you have your nose up their ass.Keep on Civin'

I'm totally rooting for Butler. I'd like nothing more than to see a true mid-major win this thing for once. And hell, if they win, I take the Lombardi pool. (Jonny has Duke and takes it if they win.)
