I guess it's time to start one.

If for no other reason then to congratulate the BIG 10 on ending over a decade of frustration by winning the ACC challenge.

Kudos for Wisconsin for knocking off Duke and the Illini for overcoming a 23 point deficit and beating ranked Clemson.

    GO BIG 10.

The Razorbacks are really, really bad this year.....and the SEC in general is not much better.

so I agree about the thread being dead until March!

Last year at this time, I had to read about how everyone was saying what an embarrassment it was and they should cancel it since the big 10 wouldn't ever win, so what the heck.

        GO BIG 10.
And I guess if everyone else's teams suck so bad that they don't want to talk about them...... So be it.

Go Texas! Ranked 2nd! Oh, and KU is #1, giving the Big 12 the top two spots for the first time in Big 12 history (IIRC).

Sorry I missed the Illini game. After they lost to Utah, I figured they were too soft to compete.

I saw a lot of the Purdue game Tuesday, and they looked solid. JaJuan Johnson was an absolute beast in the middle.

              Haven't seen much basketball yet...

Well at least it determines whether you get to go to the big dance, lesser dance, or no dance.

I keep thinking that perhaps next year something positive will happen but it never does.

Tubes was exactly right on this, but now it's March! Did Kansas get screwed in its draw or what? Georgetown, Ohio State and Michigan State in the same region? Christ. Meanwhile, Duke gets the easiest path of any #1 seed...

Duke will find a way to lose. It usually does when it's overrated despite obvious deficiencies. I like Baylor in their region.

Meanwhile, Kansas only has to play two of those three at most. I think it can get the job done.

Loved hearing Digger Phelps hype up Cornell as a fringe Elite Eight team on ESPN Bracketology following the reveal. I don't know if I'll go that far in the bracket that counts for money, but I agree that Cornell's criminally underranked, and the game with Temple will be a fabulous one, possibly the best of the first round.

So disappointed the Illini didn't make it, but I was expecting it after the chokejobs by UTEP and Utah State last night. If they'd both held their auto-bids I think the Illini would have gotten a shot.

They also have to worry about Maryland. How did the Big 12, two Big Ten and one ACC champ all end up in the same region?
