Nebraska is clearly better than Illinois, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. Iowa is nearly on par with Nebraska, but Omaha is obviously superior to Des Moines. Ohio seemed better than Nebraska (Columbus was surprisingly large and modern-looking), but the fact that I didn't go through Cleveland or Cincinnati might be making the state seem better than it actually is. My sample was far from ideal, as I missed two of the better Big Ten states in Minnesota and Wisconsin, but what I did see was not encouraging.

Omaha is a real ****hole town... Most real cities in the US are far better. Nebraska simply sucks and has very little to offer. But I guess people from Nebraska can't be expected to realize what a good state actually looks like.

I was just in Chicago, however, so I can speak intelligently about how ****ty its interstate and rail infrastructure is and how creepy it is to watch the giant faces of random Chicagoans squirt water on impoverished fat kids in the park. New Yorkers would never, ever allow something that tacky to be built in their city.

I've probably been to Omaha far more times than you have been to Chicago.

Omaha is just a two bit town. Chicago is a World Class City. It's a Destination City which people dsire to come to... unlike Omaha, which is in the middle of god forsaken nowhere and where people have no interest in going to since it has so very little to offer.

Just shows how ignorant you are... Navy Pier in Chicago has over 8 million visitors a year, which is 4 times the total population of Nebraska.

It ranks 82nd in the world, and is in the top ten for the US... and growing, unlike many other cities.
Nothing in Texas comes close... oh, and Nebraska or Omaha are never even metioned since there is really nothing worth seeing in the entire state.

2. Do you realize how pathetic it is for a Chicagoan to brag about how awesome his city is compared to Omaha? Omaha is really nice for a small city, but only a ****** would expect it to be able to compete with a major metropolis like Chicago in terms of visitors and attractions.
