If he simply lasts this season, while scoring 40, he can become a T-girls after that for all I care (or actually he could become one tomorrow as long as he stays healthy and scores 40 THIS season)

When this came up before I took the view that when we say the draft is for CC,LW,LW. RW,RW, D, D, G,G -- Bench, Bench, Bench, Bench, this means you must have one of each of the listed positions

I have no real backup for this position and if the majority want otherwise I could live with it but I have always assumed you had to fill your roster

But Snoopy, my recollection was that those people always HAD a second goalie on their roster. Perhaps I am wrong on that. Who you start and when is comepletely up to the manager but when I see that teams are comprised of listed positions I figured you need to fill those positions

I am not certain there would be much advantage from deviating anyway although people could theoretically drop to one goalie or even go to zero defencemen-- although they could probably only marginally increase forwards games played

Like I said -- I don't care that much either way but always thought you had to draft a roster that fit the positions listed-- I do not recall if this is explicitly stated anywhere and perhaps people with more experience can indicate if its usual at all

It's not required, even if they did have the second goalie. I don't see why it should be required. I'd still pick up a RW, even in the late rounds at least, but in theory if you don't want to start a full team, I don't care. There's no way that not starting a skater gives you an advantage anyhow, with 4 cumulative categories and only +/- that could possibly hurt you.
