    • Very happy with the US's draw. England, Algeria, and Slovenia is not bad at all.

      • We got lucky. The only way it could have been better is if we had drawn a stronger seeded team (or South Africa, of course).

              • Shame about Beckham. Fabio may now be forced to pick someone worthwhile to go to South Africa. Or Heskey.

                • But the important question is whether Hargreaves will be back to form in time for SA.

                          Amazing they didn't score

It was an honour to be at the game. Barca were helped by Arsenal being shocked like a rabbit in the headlights, and because a couple of players were carrying injuries, but it was the most amazing match. The pace of movement and pressing did have a price, though. Barca tired toward the end of the second half, which is when Arsenal are often at their most dangerous. Another ten minutes and Arsenal would probably have scored a third.

Second leg sees Arsenal with half their first-team out (van Persie, Fabregas, Gallas, Arshavin, Song), so it'll be a miracle if they can get a result again.

                              • Busquets is a tool, and I'm glad Inter won that game.

However, no where near as happy that Scum lost and Fulham are through
