D'oh, up 2-1, U-M took stupid hooking penalty at end of 2nd. ND scored on PP at beginning of 3rd, then another goal soon after to take 3-2 lead. They ended up scoring twice more to win 5-2 and win CCHA tourney.

      Gonzaga, Duke escape upset bids.

Much better games tonight after the afternoon blowouts.

Didn't Illinois beat Missouri by like, double digits? And this is a 3-seed?? I mean, I just couldn't take them seriously when I looked at the brackets.

But Mizzou just POUNDED Memphis. New blood in the round of 8!

One team I hate (Duke) gone.

Another team I dislike (Memphis) gone.

And Pittsburgh is finally over the hump. Now that they've gotten past the Sweet 16 hurdle that's hung them up for decades, I expect them to be much more relaxed and to steamroll Villanova in two days.

So overall, a good night. Hoping here that Missouri can get rid of Connecticut in two days, but on balance, no complaints.

Well, my bracket's toast now. Losing the champion pretty much will do that to you, barring Missouri winning it over Pitt or something crazy like that ...

Sadly, I actually did pretty well other than that. But it won't be enough, I'd think.

I had Memphis going to the finals but not winning... but like you, I now need some strange things to happen to bet back in it. I've got a decent point total, but I left a lot of points on the table with Memphis getting beat.

Syracuse getting beat cost me a Final Four team, and I also had them in the Finals. That said, given that I accurately predicted the Pitt/Duke/Memphis losses, I'm still in first place in my brackets, with a virtually guaranteed win if UNC loses at any point (to OU, Villanova, or in the championship game). I'm 47/58, in the 99% on Yahoo brackets

Syracuse was a popular dark horse pick, but it was Villanova who became the surprise team from the Big East. I know it was a down year for them, but I had UCLA beating Villanova.

I guess I'll be pulling for Michigan State now.

I had however Louisville and Pittsburg also in Final Four
