    It looks like interest in a daily league will be minimal this year.

    I'll start a separate thread; hopefully it'll reach at least 8.

    Unless the auction league will be daily?

      The auction league can be the daily league - I'm happy either way (as the weekly league, as the daily league, or as a third league). As long as it has at least 8 or so people in it (to be a reasonably deep league), if possible. (I'd actually prefer 10, unless we're limiting it to one league, as 8 is a bit too shallow in a full league for the full league to be used; the #17 player at any given position is still about average for his position in the full MLB, and that player would be on waivers, which is a bit high.)

        Do we even know what players will be allowed to participate, or is it kind of a take your chances deal right now?

          Ooh - me at first (even though I'm right-handed and our captain prefers a sinister at first, but damn, I can catch), and Rich as pitcher.

          Oh, well if this isn't a Leeds Softball League fantasy game then I can't play - I don't know enough about MLB to pick anyone half-decent.

              Hell, I won the NFL fantasy league a couple of seasons ago, then didn't change my team for the playoffs and got stuffed. Foolishly I thought that was that. But I'll know what to do next season, and get my name in that top thread (hopefully).
