Come on guys, let's concentrate on what's really important here. Congrats to Guynemer on an amazing comeback and being the only person in the Pick-Em to crack 400 points.
Boosh, and/or ka-kow.

Also, just for the record, I went 5-for-5 in the BCS bowls.

Dude, you were on fire the entire second half of the bowl season. You should figure out your successful pick percentage since Dec. 31st, so you can gloat.

From Dec. 31st on, I went 13-4 (!). My wrong picks were the Cotton Bowl (big 33 points there, ouch), Armed Forces Bowl (another big one, 27 points), Music City Bowl (23 points), and Liberty Bowl (16 points). So, as good as I did, it could've been way better.
My underdog winners were in the Orange (32), Gator (24), Sugar (21), and Chick-Fil-A (20). Toss in December 30th, and I also got underdog wins in the Holiday (19) and Humanitarian (15).
Bow to my College Football prognostication abilities!

I also, inexplicably, dropped by Sugar Bowl confidence points just before kickoff; it was somewhere in the low 30s. Apparently, my balls suddenly disappeared.

Both Ohio and Penn have excellent defenses... Texas looked average at best against Ohio... USC chewed up Penn's Defense. USC looked like the better team to me.
So, as good as I did, it could've been way better.
It's hard to do better than guessing correctly 75% of the time.
But by opponent, they would be #3
You really think a loss to Ole Miss is better than a loss to Texas Tech? I think you're reading too much into the Cotton Bowl.
...and I think you're not reading into it enough. But that's opinion, which is the crux of this whole problem to begin with. Major college football chooses its champion based on opinion, just like figure skating and gymnastics. I am not a fan of that.

People always read too much into bowl games, which are not generally indicative of which team was better during the regular season. In the case of the Cotton Bowl, it was clearly yet another case of a good team being shut out of the level of bowl game they thought they deserved and subsequently blowing a lower-tier bowl that they didn't want to be in. It's all about motivation.
