  • Armstrong to ride Tour de France

Bring on the media circus! This could be rough-and-tumble.

Will Armstrong stick it to his French critics? Or will he validate their campaign against him?
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Interesting thought but the team director of the team the initial media report said he was joining, is denying the story

Lance himself is saying he will return to "professional cycling" as part of a cancer awareness initiative. In the bit I saw he didn't say Tour de France but that is the biggest race so would be an obvious target for anything with "awareness" as a goal
