Apolyton NFL Regular Season Divisional Predictions!
Donegeal, check this sheet out ... the column adjustments should not be necessary, if you use fixed reference structure. I used the old sheet you uploaded, so if you've made changes it doesn't reflect that, but otherwise it should be correct in all cells ...
Don't I know it! I'm trying to put together a way to do tie breakers for my Fantasy Football spreadsheet (I spreadsheet I am very proud of... its to big to post on this forum). Breakdown is susposed to go record, head-to-head, div record, tot points scored, tot points allowed, coin toss, fist fight. It's a challenge, but it's fun trying.
I'm curious -- How are ties resolved? Say, if St. Louis and San Francisco tie for 3rd/4th in the NFC West... How would that be scored? Obviously, whatever Dongeal says, goes.
Anyway, here are my picks...
AFC East
Buffalo
New England
N.Y. Jets
Miami
AFC North
Pittsburgh
Cleveland
Baltimore
Cincinnati
AFC South
Indianapolis
Jacksonville
Tennessee
Houston
AFC West
San Diego
Denver
Kansas City
Oakland
NFC East
Dallas
Philadelphia
N.Y. Giants
Washington
NFC North
Green Bay
Minnesota
Chicago
Detroit
NFC South
New Orleans
Carolina
Tampa Bay
Atlanta
NFC West
Arizona
San Francisco
Seattle
St. Louis

It goes by what ever order/tie breakers the NFL uses. We are going to be going off the Standings by Division page (http://www.nfl.com/standings ). Only occasionally do things get so tied up in the NFL that they need to flip a coin to determine what place a team came in.
I'll update the spreadsheet and repost it hopefully by Wednesday.
He's not going to get into all the statistical tie-breaker crap for this that the NFL does, I wouldn't think.
Just call them losers and move on.

Yeah... the NFL determines everybodies place. They have to for draft purposes. Can't have two teams drafting in the same spot (exception for Minnesota, who can't get their pick in on time).
