Man, I have dropped like a ****ing rock these last few weeks.

It wasn't my kind of week either. I made all my picks, and for some reason, didn't enter the last two tie breakers, (why we need four different tie breakers, I'll never know) so it didn't count any of my picks for the week. I'm glad we drop the lowest week, but that sucked.

What - its didn't count your picks because you didn't enter a tie-breaker. I have forgotten to enter teams and it still gives me the score for what I did enter.

That really sucks.

It showed in my listing as "Picks Incomplete" and didn't give me credit for anything. Personally I agree... that sucked. And what the hell do we even need FOUR FREAKING tie breakers for anyway

I totally support the concept of tossing out your worst week. And I totally support the concept that once a rule is agreed upon it shouldn't be changed during that season. And currently I am leading the pool so I can't complain. But the problem with tossing out your worst week is that it is based on total points not the pct of points you got that week.

I know at first that this seems a little "picky" but coming into this week my worst week was 55 out of 120, roughly 45% (I'd give that a C minus). But this week I got 44 out of 78, roughly 56% (I'd give that a B minus). But this will be my "worst week" and thus the week I throw out. But my worst week actually was the week I went 74 out of 171 roughly 43% (I'd give that one a D plus/C minus). But, because it is total points I will keep the lousy week and throw out an above average week.

To put it another way. Other than the week I got 55 points my lowest point total was 74 points. Assuming I had gotten 74 the week I got 55, if I had gotten 73 out of 78 this week I would have thrown it out, but 73 out of 78 would have been my best week by far.

I'm not complaining and I don't even have a recommendation for anything better. I just thought I would point it out so people could think about it before next year.

Anyways here's a little early advertising. I will be hosting a College Bowl Pick 'em Tourney again this year so keep your eyes open.
