I'm glad, for the Cowboys sake, Bears won. Philly is strong. Missing top 2 RB and still made it a game. Theat rookie, #20 for Philly, may cause some heart attacks. Good to bad and all points in between.

It was about damn time, he was 11-25 since starting as HC. There isn't a heck of a lot that this team can turn around this season but it's a step in the right direction.

Defensive coordinator Jim Haslett will replace Linehan on an interim basis. The Rams scheduled a news conference later Monday.

Sounds good to me ... only problem is it screws with Survival League, as it's entirely possible Haslett could actually win a game or two.

Haslett has already proven himself pretty marginal as a head coach. Good leadership, but pretty poor at player development and game planning.

45-51 in 6 seasons in New Orleans. He did get them to the playoffs in his first year, but slid steadily downhill after that. His last year was the "Katrina" team that lost its home field and went 3-13.

I wouldn't fault a coach who took over an absolutely horrid team for going 11-25.

But my god, the Rams had a franchise QB, a Hall of Fame wideout, a Hall of Fame left tackle, and one of the league's most talented young running backs when Linehan took over. How he made that into the league's worst team is completely beyond me.
