well, hate to say it, but the Flames really didn't deserve to win tonight. Seems like they went to sleep after about 5 mins after Iggy's goal. Kipper can only stop so much

Though San Jose was really, really desperate near the end there. They made a lot of high risk plays that worked out for them.
There's also the intangibles in the game -- a couple posts/crossbars. They aren't kidding when they say it is a game of inches, it could have been much different.
I also had a bad feeling when I saw the blatant holding the stick penalties by SJ without a call...SJ was desperate, moving fast, and cheating and the refs didn't have the balls to give Calgary a powerplay with a few minutes left and a tie game..."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Dude, did the Devils pay off the refs tonight?
First Avery (yes, he's a douche) is taken down and held down on the NJ side. No call. Then Lundqvist has his stick slashed out of his hands. No call, and 2 seconds later NJ scores. Then NJ gets an unbelievably quick whistle with the puck still visible next to Brodeur.
It's disgusting.
