In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock is broken using the following system:

Note: Only those stats accumulated during the head-to-head matchup are used to settle ties. Season stats are not factored in.

1. Most team goals.
2. Most team assists.
3. Lowest team GAA.
4. Highest team SV%.
5. Most team wins.
6. Most team shutouts.
7. Most team powerplay points.
8. Most team shots on goal.
9. Most team penalty minutes.
10. Most team plus/minus.
11. Random "coin flip."

If a team does not meet the minimum games played requirement for goalies during the playoff matchup, they lose any tiebreakers involving goalie statistics.

Ah thanks asher-- I feared it was goals which I lose but had hoped it might be some mixed stat like total goals plus assists

My team did most of what it was supposed to this week winning two assists categories-- It was disappointing to lose the sv percentage and I did wonder if my opponent had his minimum games -- He didn't get three the first week IIRC and I wondered in a two week finale if it would be 6 games minimum but I am guessing not (he might have 6 anyway)

Turns out, I won without the tiebreaker. I was able to win in sv% despite Kontiki having a shutout yesterday, and a 957% average for two goalies.

It's been a wild two weeks for the finish. I kept building a massive lead only to see Kontiki's team charge back the next day. A great finish to a fun year.

And I think it says a lot that Kontiki made very few roster changes during the regular season and still finished on top. Proof of excellent drafting on his part.

And to everyone, it's been a slice. I've been staying away from Poly in an attempt to reduce my negativity, anger and general *******-ishness. So if I'm not around in the fall, have fun and keep the sticks down.

Montreal played very well against ATL teams. Outside Ottawa, they also played very well against the NE. They were not very good against the SE, even though the SE is the worst division in hockey. This is why MTL doesn't have more points despite playing a pretty good game.

They were also weak against the West.

Indeed, that was a bit of a roller coaster. I really thought I was toast early on, but my team came roaring back only to fall short in the end.
