  • I'm not explaining jack****. Imran is either stupid or playing games. Neither of which I care a lot about.

His response may have even been better. I wonder if he said he isn't explaining anything because he doesn't know himself what he was getting at.

I'm positive that no one else has any idea what he's was going on about.

      • Holy crap, all **** is breaking loose!

ESPN is reporting that early next week Les Miles will become the next head coach at Michigan and he'll take Georgia Tech's defensive coordinator, Jon Tenuta.

Also that Bo Pellini, defensive coordinator at LSU, is going to take the head coaching job at Nebraska.

Apparently there have been lesser rumors that Tommy Tuberville is about to go to Arkansas.

        • But now there is a rumor that LSU is about to sign Miles to a multi-year deal... so who knows what in the Hell is going on.

            • Now ESPN is reporting it was wrong and Miles is staying~

              • I bet the Michigan faithful are just luuuuuuvvvving Herbstreit (more than normal) right now.

But quite frankly, I'm not sure why there's so much manlove for Miles. His tenure at LSU has been full of bellyaching about him.

Of course, I have the highest respect for Tenuta.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. • Tough day for Illini fans today. To get into the Rose Bowl, we have to root for a Missouri loss. Which would mean Ohio State (and presumably WV) in the big game.

As career underdogs, Illini Nation has a real problem rooting for anything good happening for OSU.

So I'm sticking with my gut and rooting for Mizzou and WV to take care of business. The Illini will still get into one of the good games -- maybe the Sugar Bowl (assuming Fiesta takes Arizona State for the guaranteed ticket sales). Worst case scenario is the Capital One Bowl vs. Florida, and that ain't bad at all.

                  So go Missouri!

                  • I think the Illini are already in the BCS, due to BC's loss to Virginia Tech in the ACC championship. I don't think it was close enough to keep the Eagles in the top 14. The Illini were the first in line to move up.

So root for the Tigers, please do.

Exactly. It actually amuses me. LSU could easily have 4 losses this year if they didn't get some lucky bounces... and then no one would be really following it this closely.

                      • Well, Miles is sort of an anti-Carr. When you've got a last century offense that runs on first down, runs on second down, passes, and all too often punts, and everybody knows what's coming, then you see the balls on Miles, going for it on fourth down, it's like OMG! He went for it on fourth down!!! ZOMG!! He's going for it again!!!! And he was having success with that. It gets people kind of giddy.

In and out of pain meds, but was watching a blurb with Mr.Miles, seems like he was a bit "Overreacting" to the rumor of him leaving.

I have been Tuberville's name a lot in the last couple of days. Jimmy Johnson has been thrown around some also, which is pretty unbelievable.

Bill Cowher was in Fayetteville this last week, which had some Hog messages boards wetting themselves, but he was there for a Wal-Mart meeting.
