There's still a chance for the voters to correct themselves next week provided that LSU takes care of business against Tennessee. I agree that taking Virginia Tech over LSU would be incredibly tough to justify in that instance, and taking Georgia over LSU would be impossible to.

You know what? I can see this happening. I don't know about a lot of the "lesser" bowls, but some I do; and even including them, it looks likely. One of the "lesser" being Texas Tech and Wisconsin. That would be a good game. As will Texas A&M vs. Arizona State. Yeah, I know. My eyes are drawn to Big 12 right off.

LSU lost to unranked once and middle of the top 25 once.

thats how i think they were looking at it.
