I'm taking a risk on that knee, and the Blues are terrible, but it is slim pickings in the goalies at this point.

I don't use Yahoo's O-Rankings, they're ****. I made my own (rather giant) excel spreadsheet for use in all 4 of my Yahoo leagues, so I use my own rankings.

This is why I don't waste 2 hours making a pick when it's my turn...

My goal is a balanced team, and my PPG/PPA were lacking. McCabe is, of course, a terrible defenseman, but he gets points for his troubles and Kaberle usually bails him out of his ****ups.

I was happy to have Toskala last year, and hoped to have a chance to take him again this year, figured somehow it would be Tingkai that would take him ahead of me.

Almost, but not quite completely.

There is a chance that he'll be a lot better this year now that he doesn't have to play 70+ games a year. Maybe he can find his comfort zone at 35-40 games, or not. But thank the gods he's not the Leaf's only goalie.

With Toskala, we know what he can do over 40 games. This is a chance for him to step up to 50-60 games. He's a solid pick at 7th/8th round.

I was doing something similar, and that's what threw me off the other night. The Yahoo positions did not match my list.

As for McCabe, I'm not going to rehash yet another debate about this. I'll just say that if he was able to keep a +3 in front of Raycroft, that number is bound to increase with Toskala in net. Good pick.

That's why I use Yahoo as my stat source. I can copy/paste columns from the Yahoo players page so I have all the stats for players in our league.

Select the chart, export it to Excel, and manipulate it at will.
