Well guy is up and and he us shown as last posting on poly about 8 hours ago-- Given the good rate we did, I would be inclined to give him the opportunity to make his pick-- we will easily be finished in time and weekends can be crazy for some people--

When you drop a player, the player goes on waivers.

He stays there for 2 days.

Other managers who really want him can put in a waiver claim. At the end of 2 days the team making a waiver claim gets him and they move to 12th in waiver priority. If 2 or more teams claim the player, the team with the higher waiver priority gets him and they move to 12th.

The deadline is for deciding roster changes. Picking up and dropping players. We allow players picked up to be effective the next day rather than having to wait for the next week.

"Next day"?? Is the cutoff at midnight in eastern or some other time zone? That would be very important to me in ensuring I get things done before the deadline
